Yep. There's not a limit on how many names at a time, but don't go crazy. x3
Anyway. Because I can just say "Cloudfang - white tom with bad temper/hunting or fighting skill," and then you really don't get much of an opinion (since you already know the meaning of your prefixes and suffixes) I'm going to actually /rate/ based on how the two words go together too and stuff.
Don't worry, I'll still say if I know what your name means and that forbidden stuff is... forbidden. ^^ It's an in-addition thing.

Coalfoot - Hm, coal? D: I don't think the cats know if it. And it'd probably be... smoke-rock or some funky name they always have. Twigstorm - I dunno, 'Twigkit' sounds kind of demeaning, really. Easily broken and everything, which isn't nice in a feral wild world. Although I guess it's a brown, "stormy" cat, it makes me think of the irony between the two words. Shadecloud - A cloud can't be made of shade, and shade can't have clouds. So I think of... a cloud that gives shade. The combo of the two words is awkward, and though I know it's probably a dark gray fluffy cat, it just seems iffy on a "shade cloud". Shalestripe - Gray tabby cat? Nice. Brindleleg - Sounds like a tortie or calico, with a lot of the brindle on its legs. o: Nice. Dusktail - It feels awkward to pair a time with a tail, instead of something more tangible. But I'm guessing a gray cat with balance, or a cat with a gray tail while a lot of the rest of it is different? Smoketail - Good. Makes me think of a gray cat with a thick, 'plumy' tail. Cinderspot - I prefer 'spots', but whatever. x3 Sounds like a cat with gray patches. Frostedfeather - White cat, probably fluffy. But 'Frostedkit' sounds kind of harsh, like it was frozen over or something. D: And I get a depressing scene. A ragged feather lying in the snow... -shot- I went to bed after midnight, okay? ):

YES MA'AM. D8
- Stonefang - Sounds good. Strong gray cat, possibly mean, or whatever your interpretation is. But the two words tie in well (strong, stone-like teeth), so it's good visually too. - Cedarclaw - Brown cat, fighting skill? Also good, makes me think of claws like... wood splinters or something. :DD -shot- - Brindleheart - Eh, not as good. D: I mean, I know it's a brave tortie, but the two words don't work as well. A brindle-colored heart...? - Frostpelt - White cat. Good. x3 - Brackenstorm - Brown or golden cat, stormy? The noun-noun thing doesn't work as well as others might, but I get a decent visual image anyway. - Lionpelt - Gold cat...? ^^ - Silverstorm - Silver cat, 'stormy.' Better than Brackenstorm, because the adjective-noun makes me think more clearly. And since rainstorms are gray and stuff, or 'silver,' even... yeah. 8D

8D Yeah, you basically got them right. With Brindleheart... her old name was Brindlestorm, but I didn't think that would be much better. And I know where you're coming from but did Fireheart have a heart of fire? -shotdead- As for Brackenstorm ~ same as before, really, ch'yeahh. The first description was right; hes a golden-brown tom with a short temper :3 Did... Sandstorm mean a... Ah, forget it xDD

Well, maybe I'm wrong (I haven't read the books in /ages/), but I think I remember Bluestar being all "Fireheart, you have a heart of fire, it is warm, it is 'burning,' it is...blah."
The only thing is, I don't remember anyone in the books having a name where the prefix and suffix didn't really go together well. So I'm assuming that there is some sort of quality judged by how the two are paired.

I dunno about that, I never liked "Lionblaze" or "Leafpool". But in the original series, all the names were pretty well put together x3
Morningcloud Morningstorm (debating between the two, want to know which one sounds better...)
Darkdapple Duststripe Foxflower Nightstream Cinderface Whitetail Smokestorm Russetfang
[more debating on names] Stormwing Stormclaw Stormheart Stormstorm /shot xDjks.
