Rules
-Respect everyone. I don’t think I should need to say this, but people will probably be arguing ex post facto if I don’t.
-No swearing or dirty content, either.
-Admin can and will delete/ban people who are breaking the rules. For the first violation of whatever, you’ll earn a warning. After that, it’s a two-day suspension, then three days, then you’re banned. But we dont' have to go that far... right? D:
-If you create a character and no one touches the thread for days, feel free to bother an admin. We feel worse when someone waits ages because we were inattentive/lazy. D: Despite what you may believe, we do have good souls.
-If you ever decide you want to leave the forum, and then you change your mind, don't feel afraid to hop right back in. However, you'll lose any characters that have been adopted out in your absence, and any Pebbles you might have had if your account has been deleted.
-You’re allowed a total of ten cats.
-Em... I'll make it simple. =D No Sues or clichés will make Elena very happy.
-Flaws /are/ required in cats, and they should be deeper than being an antisocial emo kitteh, or being the hotheaded hyperactive maniac of the Clan. =D
-Check with the Disabilities/Mutations board if your cat has a handicap.
-Note that many cats will be injured in some way at the beginning, unless they were just lucky. {Subject to change, with plot} At this point, you may only have one uninjured warrior per Clan.
-Cats should not be having dreams or any other powers, unless they’re medicine cats or leaders, or there’s a way that the plot would allow it.
-Crushes should be organized between two players, and have both roleplayers' consent. Same with fights, and fights should also have a winner decided before being roleplayed (though you don't have to announce it).
-Cats are pregnant usually for about two months, or one month in real life. (Although they're only big in the later parts.)
-If your character is a queen who gives birth during roleplay, please only play one of the (four maximum) kits, and put the rest of them up for adoption. You can, however, choose their appearance, base personality (very brief, maybe one or two words in their description), and name, but the rest is up to everyone else. If they are not adopted, then they will have to be killed off or just become an NPC.
-An apprentice needs to be assigned a mentor once he/she's created before any roleplaying can be done, unless you wish your apprentice to be mentorless because their mentor was either killed or unable to continue their duties due to the storm. Even so, they need to be found a mentor sometime once you start roleplaying them. Post in the Apprenticeships board if you have an apprentice or an open warrior.
-If your cat dies, it’d be appreciated for you to notify an admin so he/she can move their profile to the StarClan board. People don’t sweep the boards constantly, and there could be a bit of confusion.
-PLEASE keep the ages of your characters up to date. D: One month means two roleplay months, and the cats don’t live in the Fountain of Youth. Age your cats at the end of every month, please. D: Name changes, appearance changes, and history changes should also occur as your cat grows.
-Keep your roleplay posts reasonable, please. D: No epics, but a paragraph of at least five sentences should be expected.
-Obviously, powerplaying, godmoding, and whatever else are not allowed. Powerplaying has a lot of forms, including just not allowing the other to respond, or auto-hitting another character.
-If you’re in one area, don’t have your cats wander out of it, and continue roleplaying in the original board. Once it’s clear that the cats have left the first area, create a thread or join one in the correct place.
-Your cat should only be in one place at a time. If he/she is in a dramatic fight to the death, they’re probably not mentoring their apprentice miles away.
-Please don’t spam or double post in a board when you don’t have to. Use that amazing 'Modify' button.
-You can add most anything to your posts, so long as they're tasteful.
-Siggies can have anything in them, but let’s not stretch the page, or lengthen every post enormously. Lists should go horizontally if possible, and the pictures in your siggy should not be more than 500 pixels wide, or 300 pixels high.
