About Your Character:[/b]
Name: Gingerpaw
Rank: Apprentice
Gender: She-cat
Age: 7 moons.
Clan: Paleclan
Beliefs: Gingerpaw is a believer in Starclan but she has been seriously doubting if Starclan is there ever sense she got trapped under all those branches during the storm.
Mentor/Apprentice: Fawnstripe
Kin: Fogpaw (Brother, Jayclan), Redfur ( Mother, deceased), Mist-tail (Father, deceased)
Mate: No one yet
Appearance: A ginger tabby with dark green eyes at first glance. She is a dark ginger with lighter stripes up and down her back. From under her chin a white goes down all the way to her belly. The tip of her tail is white, and is very fluffy and long for her age (It’s about the size of her). Her eyes are dark green, which is somewhat odd so she is susceptible to teasing about her eye color. She’s very thin and lean, and is somewhat light, so she could be a good hunter if she put her mind to it. Her coloration is a bit dark, but she can be easily spotted in a crowd of cats. She is small, so she can easily fit into tight spaces, but she doesn’t do it. Gingerpaw was semi-lucky escaping from the storm. She has a scar on her left shoulder from trying to escape a mass of branches she had got caught in during the storm, and another on the right side of her face that goes from her eye to the tip of her chin. She also has various scratches all over her and tuffs of fur are missing from her tail.
Personality: Gingerpaw is a quiet cat, when you first meet her. She’ll stare and the ground and mess with the dust around her paws while answering to questions you ask or small conversation. But when she warms up to you, she’s an outgoing cat who can never seems to shut up! She also has a very nasty temper that matches the bright color of her pelt. When she’s nearby someone she likes very much though, she’ll mix her shy and outgoing personalities, making her somewhat clumsy, odd sounding, and hard to talk to. She’ll talk for awhile and then just let awkward silence control the conversation while stumbling over a few rocks that seemed to have appeared. She does however, manage to be silent when she’s teased and tries to brush it off without taking an offence, although that rarely happens and she’ll end up coming up back to them in a few minutes and letting her temper lose. Gingerpaw was trapped in a pile of branches during the storm, so she panics when in tight spaces or sees giant piles of branches. She also freaks out at lightning, because that was what got the branches down on her in the first place. This caused her to soon develope trust problems, because as cats raced by no one answered to her cries for someone to help. She no longer gives her trust easily and it will take time to repair this cat's problems.
History:
kit-hood
Gingerkit was always into trouble, and sometimes her brother Fogkit would have to help her to get out of situations. But she still had a happy kit-hood, and was looking forward to the future to apprentice-hood, dreaming about learning how to hunt. Sometimes she and Fogkit would talk about what they wanted their warrior names to be which always somehow lead into a game of “Make up the worst warrior name.” Ah Gingerpaw was a troublesome kit, but she still had enough common sense to know when to stop.
Early apprentice-hood
Gingerpaw was made an apprentice and was assigned to Dovefeather (deceased). She trained hard, learning that hunting was much more fun than fighting although she didn’t put her mind to it. Soon however, her life turned upside down. Redfur died, leaving Gingerpaw saddened of the loss of her mother. Soon after, her brother left for Jayclan claming that he had done something so bad that he didn’t want to ruin Gingerpaw’s life over it. It was a sad period for her, but she got over her losses quickly and trained even harder. Then the storm came. Gingerpaw when fleeing got trapped under a huge pile of branches that took her awhile to get out of. Then Gingerpaw’s mentor was soon killed by a falling tree. Not having time to grieve for her, she moved on quickly to catch up with the clan. She clung to her brother for the rest of the trip, afraid of getting lost or left behind. When it came time for them to separate, Gingerpaw was a little bit more confident but not much. She did manage to regain it though, and is now back to normal.

Roleplay Example:
“Let’s see how many stars we can count...” A ginger she-cat muttered as she looked at the stars in the night sky, not really intending to count them. A high pitched voice in her head said the same thing over and over, reminding her of when she was younger and foolish, so foolish. A somewhat slightly deeper voice echoed this, reminding the she-cat of her brother. A memory of an adventure her and her brother had washed over her, her brother saying, “Gingerkit let’s go check out this bush!” echoed in the background of her mind. But she was far past that, an apprentice now with the name Gingerpaw.
Losing so much in a short period of time had hurt Gingerpaw, even if it didn’t show on the outside. She stared at the sky once again, searching for her mother and father. She had never known her father, but her mother said that he had been a strong powerful tom, that looked just like Silverpaw only bigger. “Oh Fogpaw… why did you have to go? I need you right now.” She murmured, wishing she knew what he looked like now. She may have regained much of her confidence, but she still was shaky about leaving camp. Piles of branches big enough to contain a cat freaked her out, and lightning was still a big fear of hers. There weren’t many apprentices around either and they weren’t really in the mood to talk so Gingerpaw was kinda…alone.
While her dark green eyes scanned the sky, she listened to the echoes of past memories and wished longingly for the comfort of the old camp, her mother, and her brother once more. But these comforts were long gone, and how she had to adjust. Sadly, she turned around and padded back into the apprentices den missing the two stars that shined brightly above her.
Note: It takes ALOT to upset Gingerpaw.
