The coloring is a bit off. It should be darker.
And, yes, I know one of the front leg's proportions are impossible. First time drawing with the tablet, okay? Okay.
Name: Foxpaw
Rank: Apprentice
Gender: Tomcat
Age: 8 moons
Clan: JayClan
Beliefs: (-is making this particular part in first person simply because I can portray his feelings better- But this is the only part. -nodnod-)
StarClan? Ha! Oh, yes, I believed in StarClan once, but that was before the storm. Before the devastation. Before the deaths. StarClan aren't real--that's what I believe. They're just nursery tales. And, well, I'm not a kit living in the nursery anymore, and I know better now. StarClan is fake. I mean, really. Why do the others insist on believing in them? Look where we are now! 'StarClan' didn't lift a single claw to help us!
Mentor: Sandwhisker
Kin: Sister - Minnowpaw; Father - Redstripe(killed by badger); Mother - Heronpelt(killed in storm)
Mate: A bit young, no?
Appearance: Foxpaw has dark ginger tabby fur. His lighter base coat is striped with a dark orange shade. He has a short, thick pelt, which is only slightly fluffy, but, hey, he's still young. Keen, light brown eyes are set above his small pink nose. Medium-length whiskers protrude from near it and average-sized ears sit on top of his head. Foxpaw has a stocky build with broad shoulders and strong muscles developing. He is also quite large, considering his age. Large paws show that he still has some growing to do--he certainly won't be a small cat!
Personality: Foxpaw is, in one word, a brat. He is stuck up, arrogant, selfish, overconfident, self-centered, rude...need I say more? He thinks he's the best and that he deserves the best...he's quite deluded. He also gets bored quite easily and attempts to cure it by complaining to anyone and everyone. Oftentimes, though, he acts the way he does out of pure stubbornness--he hates being wrong.
Foxpaw is also ambitious. He desires to be Clan leader, and he's determined to achieve said position soon. Anyone who knows of this desire probably thinks he's crazy, knowing Foxpaw's lazy personality. Foxpaw doesn't care, though--others' opinions don't matter, because he's always right. (<-- is what he thinks, not what he is) Yes, if you couldn't guess, Foxpaw is quite narrow-minded.
Foxpaw boasts A lot. When challenged, he tries to back his boasts up with tooth and claw--or whatever the challenge requires. He won't always prevail, though, and, being the sulky type, he'd probably stomp off angrily if/when he loses.
This apprentice can be a very annoying kitty to put up with. His mischievous personality is the last thing the Clans want. It'd be just like him to do something bad--such as sneak into enemy territory--to pass the time when he's bored. Of course, he doesn't always go alone. An adventure with his fellow apprentices is just the thing he'd like.
It's a wonder Foxpaw survived the storm at all, he's so lazy. Often his mentor will find that he had run off early in the morning to avoid training. The only thing he's really good at is strategizing. Foxpaw has a sharp, smart brain, if only he would use it for the good of the Clan instead of just himself. However, no matter how bad a personality Foxpaw has, he is extremely loyal to his friends--and himself...though...not as much to his Clan.
History: Foxpaw was born in a litter of two. The day he and Minnowkit were born, their father, Redstripe, was killed by a badger. The two kits felt no grief, as they had never met their father, but Heronpelt certainly did. After hearing of her mate's fate, Heronpelt couldn't bear to look at Foxkit, as he looked so similar to her beloved. Foxkit was, in result, neglected, and had to be suckled by a different queen for a time. After recovering from her initial shock, Heronpelt took Foxkit back under her care. It was, however, obvious that she still didn't like to look at Foxkit and favored Minnowpaw. As a result, Foxkit became selfish and sulky.
Heronpelt seemed to fare better after Foxpaw and Minnowpaw became apprentices. Perhaps it was because she didn't have to go through every day at night gazing at her son anymore. She was more cheerful and didn't neglect Foxpaw as much; it was apparent that she was hurt by the fact that Foxpaw brushed her off whenever she tried to help him with anything.
The day the storm hit was truly saddening. Of course, Foxpaw didn't make it out unharmed. Struck by a branch, he has a scar trailing down his side, as well as some scratches were debris hit him. That wasn't the worst part, however. Foxpaw realized too late just how much his mother meant to him. He could only look on, frozen in shock, as Heronpelt drowned, too weak to swim, as they crossed the river. Even though he currently acts as if Heronpelt's death doesn't matter to him, from that day forward, Foxpaw decided that StarClan were just fake.
