Appearance:
Morningpaw is no dainty, fragile female, being actually quite bulky and impressive in size. She is also fairly tall, and her fur is a medium-length to further her intimidating build. She is mostly a fiery ginger, with a streak of lighter ginger down her spine, and streaks of pale ginger, and even gold, here and there across her pelt. Her tail is particularly fluffy. Her chest and underside are white, and especially soft, and her face, though both ears are ginger, is half white and half red, with more prominent streaks of pale ginger around that patch. She has a ring of white around her neck. Her eyes are a dark, earthy brown color, making her slightly unusual compared to the normal yellows, greens, ambers and blues.
Personality:
Morningpaw is quite a daring cat, who with a certain pride will do bold acts to recieve praise from her friends, because she knows she can. She has her fears, as we all do, hers being a fear of rejection and isolation, but she tends to deal with her fears better, because she is, well, brave. When with her friends, she likes to create a picture of what she is like, so that other cats like her; she is afraid they will not like her for who she is. Of course, she can't bottle it up all the time, and sometimes lashes out. In her head, she has opinions and thoughts that stretch far away from the norm, and she is quite aesthetic with the way she looks upon the world, especially when it comes to nature. On the outside, she shows herself as being a sheep, following the 'general' opinion, and even pretends to care deeply about situations she really couldn't care less about. She doesn't much like the idea of motherhood, and honestly, she'd rather be out working or doing something interesting, but she often pretends she is interested when talking to more... Kit-happy queens. On the rare occasion she gives herself a voice, she is actually quite persuasive, being both loquacious and imaginative, able to turn her thoughts into realistic ideas and explain them in an easy, efficent manner. However, for some reason she is also quite easily persuaded herself; a very good argument or idea will often make her re-think her own, and while her mind does not change with the breeze, she is not stubborn with her thoughts. Her biggest vulnerability is kits. Despite the way she handles them; gruff, firm, protective, she will step over herself to do something for a kit in need. They completely and utterly make her heart melt, and seeing a cheerful little apprentice or kitten can lift her moods most days. She just doesn't want her own - However, being an apprentice, this will likely change as she matures. It is also possible that her mothers death affected her ideas on parenthood.
Morningpaw is most at ease when on her own, because she can sit and think freely, without having to worry about other cats or her duty. She truly is a daydreamer, sometimes spending over an hour sitting there, staring into space thinking about battles and daredevil actions, heroic deeds and adventures ahead. She is aware that she most likely has little chance as being in such a situation, what with her being only ten moons. Of course, she doesn't just sit around all day dreaming about war, she actually does prioritize doing her duties and giving a helping paw around the Clan.
Morningpaw is an optimistic cat by nature, able to flip over a tarnished coin to see the glitter, and even when a situation does not seem so bright, she is often able to convince herself and others everything will turn out all right in the end. She is able to give herself compliments, and genuinely is happy with her real self, she just worries that others aren't. She is also good at handing out compliments to others, as the beauty on the inside means so much more to her then any physical flaws. No matter how pretty somecat is, if they are malicious, or deceptive, she can only find bad things in them. Ugliness shines through. Morningpaw is not the kind of female who has obvious bad moods, she does not change her movement or even behavior too much, but you can usually tell because she isn't smiling as much, and, if insulted or even talked down to a little, will often snap back with a sarcastic comeback. She dislikes dramatic shows of emotion, even when filled with rage she will keep the lid tight shup, but she finds it incredibly difficult to keep her mouth shut when feeling sour. A simple flick of the tail will suffice.
History:
Morningpaw had lived a relatively happy life, born to two cats very much in love, in a litter of four. She grew up with her three brothers, and mostly enjoyed her time as a kit, though often was in trouble for breaking the rogues rules and generally being naughty, normally with her partner in crime, Smokey. She herself, back then, was named Cherry. He was her closest friend, and ally, in her kittenhood. Their parents, Delphi and Ratten, were rogues in a small collective group, that traveled together for protection. Not a clan by any means, but a comfortable, social life. It was only when they were slightly older (roughly six moons) that she ever felt her first real, raw, emotional pain, and that was when her mother died from a common disease, which had resisted all attempts to be cured and slowly suffocated her.
A few other cats died, but it was enough that her father took her and her brothers away with him, especially as Mouse had taken ill. He died shortly after they left. It was painful, but they had to carry to on, and it was on the road that they met JayClan, which had (hopefully =P) accepted the younger cats as apprentices, though Ratten chose to leave after a brief stay, admiring the Clan, yet knowing he could never go back to a social life, and knowing he'd never adapt to the style. Morningpaw, Cinderpaw and Stormpaw have all been working hard to prove that, no matter what, they will become true clan warriors.

Does this have to be a Warrior Cat example? x: I haven't role-played it in over a year, so it might look a bit rubbish.
This is an example of her from another site, which has twolegs as men, so do excuse the change of termonology o:
It happened that Morningcloud(paw) suffered problems when hunting- oh, it was fine if she was in a mountainous land, or near a large fish supply, but in a forest, with all its small rodents, she failed. Her enormous bulk made her less light-footed then the normal cat. She preferred being fed to hunting for herself, as she had been raised for most of her life as a warrior, not a hunter, and she’d only really developed skills for fishing and hunting in the last two months. It’d been so long since she’d been a loner that she was starting to starve, living off the odd fish or rabbit. She was getting pretty annoyed. Darned little monsters. She’d rip their throats out for such impudence, running away from her and all! They should be jumping into her jaws. She snickered at the thought. Now /that/ would be the day.
She could hear the voices of two cats speaking, and turned her head quickly, ears pricked, to listen. How queer. She contemplated running away befor they caught wind of her, but, instead she travelled further into the territory, making her way through the undergrowth until she could hear them more closely.
Well, the stranger was definitely insane. Dreaming about her father and thinkin' it mean anything. She padded over the damp grass, confronting the strangers directly now. Not the prankster or playful type, she decided to speak in one of her least threatening voices, hoping her size and muscular mass wouldn't immidietely startle them. Hey, she didn't know if they were kittypets or not, did she?
"I dream of mice and men, yet this does not trouble me. Why would a dream trouble you?"
